news flash for the past week...
-got a keyboard with weighted keys (:
-skiing at falls creek!
the ski trip at falls creek was enriching, and memorable for all sorts of reasons.
it was very picturesque! i brought my camera along but didnt use it in the end... so no photos for now... though i really want to share the photos here! maybe after i collect photos from others.
random points to note:
-the blanket of snow everywhere was bright white (hey it rhymes!)
-i like the gentle touch of falling snow brushing against your face
-sitting in the chair lift when the cold wind is blowing snow straight into your face makes the uncovered parts of your face go numb
-getting up in skis when you fall down is more tiring than it looks
-i'm very grateful to the other bunk for genorously opening up their place to us for dinner + games... it was a good time of just hanging out
-my eyes are getting bigger. no, not in the literal sense. i mean it along the lines of 打开眼界，阔宽视野 (dear reader, are you going 'wow, she used chinese?' haha. the writer is just amusing herself now.)
